I just finished watching the third episode of The Newsroom, “The 112th Congress,” and I was surprised to see Gideon Yago’s name in the credits. He had apparently co-written it with Aaron Sorkin!
Some of my earliest pop culture memories were of him hosting TRL and the VMAs in the 00s. Glad to know he’s still around.

There was a kind of arrogance there that you’re not out there to want to be loved so desperately that you will do anything. It’s about maintaining you’re own integrity and your own view of the world and try to be truthful about it.
Terry Gilliam gives a fantastic tutorial on how to do his signature Monty Python cut-out animations. This goes really well with Imprint’s article on Jack “King” Kirby’s love of collaging.
Maybe it’s time to try some new things artistically … at the very least it’s the basis for some next-level GIF making.
